Steel Magnolia came into our rescue program on October 17, 2013. Steel Magnolia came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division with 1 other horse as a cruelty case. Steel Magnolia is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Mare. Steel Magnolia is estimated to be 7 years of age. Steel Magnolia is extremely emaciated with a body score of a 2. She is infested with internal/external parasites and is moderately anemic. She is super sweet and very smart. She loves attention and always easy to approach and catch. She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Steel Magnolia has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she progresses. Update March 2014 Steel Magnolia is now seeking her forever, loving home. She is a super sweet girl and will make someone an excellent horse. Steel Magnolia is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Steel Magnolia stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. Steel Magnolia has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Steel Magnolia has been adopted to a wonderful family in Alva, Oklahoma. Steel Magnolia, along with Heidi, will be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved in their forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these sweet girls found the forever, loving family they deserve, where they will receive an unlimited amount of love and attention.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
